This is Beach Weather

I don’t know if this is the dog days of summer or not but it seems the most logical thing to do is go to the beach.      This very uncharacteristic summer (We’re usually having some nasty weather that ruins something or drives the tourists away.) has got to be celebrated.     Of course, fortunately for us locals, we can jump on a bike, ride out to the island and plop ‘pro bono’ on our rear ends just about anywhere we please whether Newbury or Newburyport or even at the first parking lot of the wildlife preserve. (of course, having our duck stamp in hand!)

If anyone else is going in a car, I would stop at the ATM first!

I hope the Mayor is dead-serious committed to issuing local resident stickers so every citizen can jump in the car and park at the Point.       It will be the one real plus out of this whole paid parking thing.

Just imagine as the tourists fork over the BIG Bucks, I can watch their mouths drop open as I cruise into my favorite parking spot with nary a hesitation.

Ah, I can’t wait!
