I have been remiss in mentioning the local activities going on hosted by the Essex National Heritage Area.
First, my link was messed up so I have fixed it.
Second, the Essex National Heritage Commission smartened up and now has activities spread over two weekends. Playing dodge ball with the weather is a necessary sport here in New England. This way, everyone will have a chance to go to some of the great events.
The best part is that every location can not charge admission or a fee so it is all FREE! That makes any poor preservationist sing for joy. (Donations of course are always appreciated.)
