A Gentle Jab

Now one thing I can’t stand are talking heads that get on the air right after the Governor or the President has a major speech.     By the time they’re done ‘interpreting’, they inform us all that what the speaker was really saying was practically opposite from the speech!      I think that most of us can understand plain English and don’t need an ‘expert’ to tell us all about it.

So with that in mind, you had to see it on cable or be in person to understand the stress the Mayor put on the simple word, ‘Park’.      The transcript in the Daily News just doesn’t relay that information.

And then you wouldn’t even need someone with a brown bag over his head to say anything!
